Welcome to Mazel Tov Kennels. We relocated our kennel in late 2015 and we now are in beautiful Black Forest near Colorado Springs, Colorado. We began as an Arizona Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder in Phoenix. But, as most Ridgeback owners know, we soon outgrew our Phoenix city lot and needed space for our growing pack of hounds. Colorado provides the beautiful wide open spaces and plenty of activities for our active brood.
Sharon and Paige Witherspoon, aka Mazel Tov Kennels, proudly acquired our first Rhodesian Ridgeback in 2003. Vicki, known as AM/INT'L CH Ruya Legend's Sedona Solara (CH Rivercitys Nobody Beats Bart, JC, ROM x CH Ruya Dynasty's Legend Bonita, ROM), was so delightful, beautiful and even-tempered that we soon added her younger sister, Aaliyah, to our pack. We were so thrilled and honored to meet Aaliyah (CH Ruya's Legend of Mazel Tov, ROM) before she was a day old, on Thanksgiving 2003. Aaliyah, a full sister to Vicki, was one of 12 but she alone stole our hearts. We are so fortunate, Aaliyah lived over 13 1/2 years. She died in the summer of 2017 and she will be missed forever but leaves us with many wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Vicki lived a wonderful life and gave us so much joy in addition to some wonderful puppies. Below, see one of her grandsons, our sweet MacGee.
