CH Ruya's Legend of Mazel Tov (Aaliyah)
Aaliyah is our "Thanksgiving" girl born November 23, 2003. Aaliyah was one of twelve healthy puppies born to CH Rivercitys Nobody Beats Bart JC ROM x CH Ruya Dynasty's Legend Bonita ROM. To add variety to my life, I promised myself that my second Rhodesian Ridgeback would have a black mask. However, Aaliyah took to us as quickly as we took to her and the thought of a black mask puppy faded as Aaliyah quickly became part of our life.
When we brought her home, most of our friends could not understand how we could tell the two sisters apart since they both had similar coloring. But dogs are not so different from children in that two completely different personalities can come from the same parents. Where Vicki is laid-back and has a very go-with-the-flow personality, Aaliyah is rather intense, she actually cries when she sees someone she loves because she longs to love and be loved by that special person.
Aaliyah has been such a great addition to our household. Having our second RR has sealed my resolution to raise healthy, happy, and friendly Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Mazel Tov Kennels was blessed with its first Rhodesian Ridgeback litter in 2007 when Aaliyah gave birth to 10 healthy, happy and active puppies. Take a look!
